Stertz

1 cup Flour
1 cup Milk
1 egg
1 tsp salt

In a large skillet (make sure it's one you can use knives on-stainless steel) pour enough vegetable oil to barely cover the entire pan. *note-the more vegetable oil-the more crispy your stertz will be* Heat on medium. Mix the ingredients listed until paste-like. Pour batter into skillet and let cook until bottom is golden brown. Flip like a pancake and let cook until golden brown on the other side. Take two knives and begin cutting the large pancake into bite size pieces. When finished-serve.

Cover with sugar, plums and plum juice. Amount of each is at your discretion.

Random tidbit of info: This is an Austrian dish from Stephen's grandmother.
